Summer School

  During the holiday breaks the Try Line Centre is often a hive of activity with weekly holiday programmes. These can have a variety of themes from healthy lifestyles to multimedia and movie making fun.

  We often arrange external visits to a range of venues including, Don Valley Stadium, Magna, Cannon Hall, Lifewise, Rother Valley and The National Mining Museum to name but a few!

  Healthy lunches are always provided back at the Clubhouse.

The afternoons are then shared between sports activities outdoors and using the wonderful IT facilities in the centre.

  A range of sports are played under the expert guidance of qualified players from the Rotherham Titans ensuring everyone gets involved and has fun!

  Back in the I.T. suite the youngsters create their own movie using all the photos taken during the week so they can take home a finished DVD of all their work at the end of the week.

  Throughout the week the centre staff are supported by volunteer mentors who give up their free time to help ensure everyone has a good time, if you would like to become a volunteer then please feel free to e-mail Sandy Sanderson via sandy@trylinecentre.co.uk

  At the end of the week we invite family and friends along to celebrate the efforts of the young people by showing a video of the week, and awarding gifts and certificates to recognise all the good work and fun they have had!
